My horror short story, ‘The Devil’s Own’ was published by Black Hare Press. Set in the 1920s, things don’t go right for friends Rose and Maggie when they visit a new jazz club in town.
Rose sat on Maggie’s bed, turning her hand in the light to admire her nails as they dried. “It’s such a good colour,” she said, lips twitching up at the corners as she anticipated her friend’s reaction.
